SATYAKAM
Satyakam is Jabala's NFE (Non Formal Education) center for pre primary and preparatory classes to enroll students in formal school and CSE (Coaching Support Education) center to retain the students in the formal school i.e., reduction in drop out rates and provide them with coaching support to excel in their studies. The three centers at red light districts are Bowbazar, Barrackpur and Kalighat that aim at mainstreaming of the children in difficult situation. Along with education children in these centres get monthly health check ups and creative art therapy in form of colors, song, theatre, mime, story building workshop which enable the children to get confidence, reduce stigmas and they can face the challenges of life with vigor and courage. The other activities include supplementary coaching, yoga therapy and meditation, arrangement of educational tour, exposure visits, vocational training and nutrition packages.

Similar centers are there at five slums, three in Murshidabad and one each at Ghutiary Sharif (24Parganas -South) and Swarupnagar (24 Parganas -North).

SAHAJOG
Jabala's vocational training centers for adolescent girls, young women, mother, traffic survivors, abuse victim and youth. The programs are designed to give the trainees a livelihood options. Sahajog runs in three centers in the red light district and three slums of Kolkata.The vocational training is also imparted in one center in 24Parganas - North, and three centers in Murshidabad. The trainers are expert in their respective fields.

Under Sahajog Jabala places various trainees to different organization and also procures orders for them. Jabala supports a Designer quilt-making unit at 24 Parganas – South

SAMPARKA
Samparka is a child-to-child development program whose motive is peer-to-peer interaction. It is a participatory strategy in action. Here children of Jabala act as vanguards of development in the fields of health, environment and also in the issue of child rights, violence against girl child and child trafficking. Jabala is having 15-child resource team in Kolkata who receive regular training and tries to help other children in distress. In Murshidabad 34 7 12 at 24Parganas-North Adolescent girls group being formed who receive inputs on Health, Child Abuse and Trafficking. These children do rape case follow-ups; take part in rallies on different issues. Perform on streets.This year Jabala started a Legal Counseling centre for women and children in difficult situation. Every Thursday a prominent Lawyer sits and provides legal counseling.


SAMBAL
A program to help Women of Red light areas to form a cooperative to deposit their money who doesn't have access to banking system. This also helps to protect them from the exploitation by local moneylenders. Three member of the community supervises the scheme.


SANKALAN
Jabala's documentation and research unit whose main area of concern is child related problem and achievement in combating it, Jabala publishes a book for the marginalised children called Phuljhuri to increase the reading habit and for slow learners. This year interviews of traffick survivors were recorded and being used as resource materials for training.

SATHI
Sathi is Jabala's counseling centre primarily for the brothel area children their mothers & violence Survivors. Sathi offers expert guidance in handling behavioral problems of children and also addressed their own need for counseling. Follow-up visits ensured quality support. Medical advice imparted during health check-ups. This year Jabala started Preventive Counselling for Inmates of Shilayan a government run home in Murshidabad.

Sathi also provides counseling services to children in difficult situation belonging to other organization when referred.


SHIBIR
The Drop in center for adolescent girls in the red light areas. This is an effort to keep the girls away during the business hours of their mothers as they may fall prey to sexual abuses.

In Shibir children are not only given protection but also education. At Shibir they talk at length to the teachers, volunteers about their, problems and miseries. There are arrangements for playing in-door games like Ludo, Carom etc. in which they participate, and spend quality time away from dangers.


SAMPREETI
Network has got an immense meaning for Jabala and we believe to replicate resources network has no alternative. Jabala is part of various networks.

- Founder and active member of Maitree a Kolkata based platform for women organization and activists
- State Secretariat for CACT (Campaign Against Child Trafficking) having 60 member NGOs and CBOs in different districts in West Bengal. This is line with International CACT Network.
- Founder and active member of ATSEC a network of organization against sexual exploitation of children.
- Member of WBEN (West Bengal Education Network)
- Jabala also networks with different Government bodies like, Education Department, Police, Judiciary, BSF (Border Security Force) etc.
- Jabala also liaison with Bangladesh NGOs for exchange and help in repatriation process.
