‘RUN FOR RIGHTS’ - Nearly 100 girls ran 3kms stretch between Alipurduar Chowpatty to Dooars Kanya to raise awareness on girl’s’ rights. The event was organised to celebrate the spirit of International Women’s Day and organised in association with Alipurduar District Police on 12th March 2023


Executive Director Baitali Ganguly shared Jabala’s journey at the Special Session on Celebrating Women Achievers and Grassroot Change to mark International Women’s Day organised by Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) on 10th March 2023.


04 victims of Child Marriage who are again enrolled back to school were given text books, educational materials, hygiene kits and dry ration etc. under Victim Support program The Honourable BDO (Block Development Officer) of MJ (Murshidabad- Jiagunj) block of Murshidabad district, West Bengal handed over the same to the girls and assured all possible support on 24th February 2023


A District Level Network Meeting jointly organised by District Child Protection Unit; Child Welfare Committee and Jabala on Prevention of Child Marriage’ was held on 17.02.2023 at Dumka, Jharkhand. Representatives from different NGOs and District level officials were present.


‘EXPLORING THE DIGITAL WORLD’ – Computer Literacy camps for the Girls continued in Jharkhand, Alipurduar and Murshidabad in February 2023.
